In just 12 days, ALBADDAD transformed a vision into a fully operational, premium-grade modular facility in Al Ihsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Designed and built for our client DAN, this Smart Structure project stands as a benchmark in speed, precision, and turnkey delivery for the region’s modular construction sector.

Client & Location

DAN, a key player in the KSA commercial and industrial sectors, selected ALBADDAD to execute a fast-paced project in Al Ihsa. With minimal lead time and no margin for error, the client required two fully enclosed structures for high-visibility use, with both durability and a refined interior finish.

Scope of Work

The project comprised two custom-designed Smart Structures:

• Structure 1: 30m x 40m with a side height of 7m

• Structure 2: 10m x 40m with a side height of 7m

Combined, the structures delivered over 1,600 sqm of built-up modular space, incorporating:

External Walling

• 280 sqm of tempered glass wall panels for natural lighting and aesthetics

• 1,120 sqm of insulated hard panels ensuring enclosure and climate control

Interior Finish

• 3,520 sqm of elegant satin lining fabric, offering a seamless, polished look for the full ceiling and wall surfaces

Access & Openings

• 6 double-hinged and 4 single-hinged doors constructed from insulated aluminum and matching panel cladding

Flooring System

• 1,600 sqm of raised wooden cassette flooring

• Finished with 3–4mm commercial-grade carpet for durability and comfort

Climate Control

• 9 HVAC units delivering a total of 198 tons of ductless cooling

Electrical Works

• Complete internal and external fittings, including lighting, power outlets, and distribution

Challenges & Execution

The timeline was tight — just 12 days to complete civil works, structure installation, interior fit-out, and full commissioning. ALBADDAD’s modular engineering team deployed with precision, leveraging our prefabrication expertise and in-house logistics.

Site conditions in Al Ihsa demanded high-temperature resilience, dust control, and rapid assembly. We implemented a direct cooling strategy without ductwork to maximize air circulation while reducing complexity — ideal for fast deployment and reliable operation.
